Global Business Trip – December 2009

The first ever Global Business Trip (GBT), an initiative of Fundación Banesto in collaboration with StepOne Ventures, took place in December of 2009.  Introducing participating Spanish companies with Silicon Valley counterparts, the GBT has served to orientate leaders in the Spanish Technology industry with developments in the Bay Area, widely considered the “hub” of emerging technology and entrepreneurship.

The agenda of the trip featured the following activities:

  • Visit to industry leading companies like Google and Intel in Silicon Valley.
  • A customized agenda for companies interested in setting up their business in the Valley with individual meeting with potential investors, strategic partners, collaborators.
